Local Exploring

Hello again!  These are still late, but better late than never because we have a new adventure on our hands (more on this later...).

For a while, Danny and I were spending a lot of time at Shafer Park, just walking distance from the inn.  There's a pond with a fountain and ducks, a library, playgrounds, soccer fields, picnic tables, etc., but best of all lots of little trails through a slightly wilder little spot of country.

We also finally went to check out the Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown...

And had a nice big park around some lakes.  Beware the ducks though...

Last but not least, a trip to Marty Snook Park, where there are the very cool beginnings of a natural playground, with giant, fantasy carvings created by a local craftsman.

(The last one is my favorite so far :)

Happy adventuring!
